The roadworks were scheduled to finish at 5am
THERE is heavy traffic due to overrunning roadworks.
This because of the roadworks at junction 19 for Knutsford and there is congestion to junction 21 for Woolston.
The M6 Souhtbound entry slip road was also closed but that reopened at 7.30am and all lanes have since reopened.
Travel time is around 20 minutes.
The works were scheduled to finish at 5am.
