CELEBRITY TV and music stars teamed up to provide Christmas gifts for thousands of disabled children across the UK.

Caudwell Children’s annual festive lunch raised £12,500 at The Mere Golf Resort & Spa.

Singer Angie Brown performed at the fundraiser, which featured a champagne reception, two-course launch, festive treats and a silent auction.

A luxury spa break, an exclusive Andy Warhol print and limited edition Formula One memorabilia were among items under the hammer.

The charity urgently needs more donations to make that a reality.

Dozens of key workers were invited to join the event as special guests to thank them for their hard work and support for vulnerable children during the pandemic.

Caudwell Children has supported more than 60,000 children across the UK since the charity was founded in 2000, including more than 10,000 in 2021 alone.
