The use of iPads in the classroom has allowed teachers to bring a topic to life in ways previously unimaginable.

Pupils can now peek inside the human body in biology using specialist reality programmes and learn how to master umpire training in PE.

Student creativity has flourished as technology enables them to broaden their skills in videography, photography and drawing.

IT development manager Neal Plews said: “We are immensely proud to be recognised again as an Apple Distinguished School.

"It is the culmination of a huge amount of hard work and dedication from all the staff.

"We truly believe that, together with the international community of Apple Distinguished Schools, we are helping to design the future of education.

"With Apple technology our students are better able to connect to the world, fuel their creativity, deepen collaboration and experience truly personal learning.”

The school says iPads have inspired student creativity, collaboration and critical thinking in the classroom.
