A FESTIVE hunt with a difference has been launched.

Children are being invited to search for Santa hiding in shop windows across Knutsford this Christmas.

Santa in the Shop trail is a new activity encouraging families to have fun in the town centre.

Santa with a festive message of Christmas cracker joke is hidden in 12 shop windows.

Sandra Curties, town centre and marketing officer at Knutsford Town Council, said: “This is a sweet and easy trail for Christmas, a great way of exploring our beautiful town and enjoying the Christmas lights and festive windows.

"We hope families enjoy spotting our little Santas.”

The competition runs until Christmas Eve.

Entry forms can be picked up from Knutsford Library, Market Hall, council offices, and selected shops.

When completed, entries can be dropped off at Santa’s special post box in Little Waitrose.

All correctly completed forms will be entered into a prize draw with the winners announced in early January.

Anyone visiting the town centre by can can park free on Saturday December 4, 11 and 18 from 10am in Silk Mill, King Street and Princess Street car parks.
