A MAN has been prosecuted after police found eight bags of cannabis.
Jed Sutton, 22, of Heywood Close, Alderley Edge, admitted being in possession of the drugs when he appeared at Greater Manchester Magistrates Court on November 25.

The controlled Class B cannabis and cannabis resin was discovered on December 12, 2020.
The defendant's guilty plea was taken into consideration when Stockport magistrates imposed a sentence.
Sutton was fined £200 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £34 victim's surcharge.
The defendant was given a conditional discharge for 12 months.
The cannabis was confiscated and destroyed under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
Sutton was given time to pay the £319 court bill at £50 per month.
