A WINSFORD man has been fined and escaped further punishment after being found in possession of cannabis.
Dale Anthony Fiddler, of Middlewich Road, admitted having a quantity of the class B drug on May 13 this year.
At the time of the offence, the 30-year-old was actually subject of a 12-month conditional discharge, having committed an assault.
The terms of that conditional discharge were only imposed on Fiddler on February 17.
He was appearing at Chester Magistrates Court on Tuesday, November 30, where he entered guilty pleas to both charges.
Fiddler was fined £150 and told to pay a £34 surcharge to fund victim services and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Magistrates decided to take no action in relation to the breach of the conditional discharge.
