AFTER Storm Arwen brought down trees with strong winds on Friday into Saturday, by Sunday most of us saw snow across the region.
As always, our Guardian Camera Club members were on hand to capture some truly stunning wintery scenes.
It was a case of one extreme to another, with gusts of up to 75mph bringing down trees, causing devastation and damage, that even left some people without power.
However, by lunchtime on Sunday, much of the storm damage was hidden under a dusting of the white stuff, with the first snowfall of the season.
And as day broke on a new week on Monday, the mix of a beautiful sunrise and a white landscape provided snappers with a perfect combination.
