A MAN has been taken to hospital after police were called to a house in Knutsford in the early hours of Tuesday (November 23).
Both police and ambulance crews responded to concerns raised about the welfare of a male at an address on Woodlands Drive.
They remained at the scene for some time and after police officers negotiated with the man, he was assessed at the scene by paramedics.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: "At 2.30am on November 23 police were called to an address in Woodlands Drive, Knutsford following concerns for the welfare of a man.
"Police attended and negotiated with the man.
"He was then taken to hospital to be assessed."
A spokesman for North West Ambulance said: "We attended an incident at a private address following a 999 call at 02.31.
"We have taken a patient to hospital."
