ARTHUR Hasford joined an exclusive club during the latest round of Knutsford and District Amateur Snooker League action.

The Mere C player achieved the rare feat of being the only winner on a team that still won the aggregate point – something which has happened only five times in the league’s history – in his side’s game against Wilmslow Cons A.

Wilmslow won five of the six frames in the match but given how close they all were, Arthur’s superb 125-point frame saw him secure the aggregate point.

Elsewhere in Week 10, Morley Green stayed top of the table by thrashing third-placed Tatton A 6-1 while Shaw Heath stay just a point behind after beating Mobberley C by the same scoreline.

Mobberley’s A and B teams both won their games 5-2, beating Mere A and Tatton C respectively.

In another match were the aggregate point went to the losing team, Tatton B were 4-3 victors over bottom side Wilmslow Cons B.
