A CAFE has reopened with a Turkish flavour.
Chef Bahattin Atar has taken over the eatery in Knutsford market hall, which was first established in 1964.
A new menu has been introduced with dishes to appeal to customers old and new.
Bahattin said: “I am a trained chef and have been working in restaurants all my life.
"Knutsford Market Hall is an ideal location to set up my first business and I have had a great welcome from my fellow traders.
"I am initially launching with a smaller menu which will expand and perhaps reflect my Turkish/Kurdish background.”
Sandra Curties, Knutsford town centre and marketing officer said: “We are delighted to welcome Bahattin to the market hall and we are looking forward to seeing how his menu develops.
"They are hosting a breakfast with Santa on December 11th and the new year will see the return of the supper clubs.
"We hope everyone will visit and support the newest addition to our market family."
The market is open on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8am to 4pm.
Stalls include Jonty’s Fruit and Veg, Style Loft Boutique, Slipped Discs, Plastic Free Weigh, The Market Butcher, Morgan Edwards, Greeting Cards and Balloons of Knutsford and Deliveroot.
