A £33 million business park has been given the green light to expand and create up to 100 new jobs.

Industrial developer Chancerygate has been granted planning permission to build phase two of the Novus development in Knutsford.

This latest part of the scheme will deliver 73,000 square feet of industrial space with a gross development value of £11 million.

A further nine units ranging from approximately 2,000 sq ft to 50,000 sq ft will be available on a freehold and leasehold basis.

Furniture company Vida Living has already bought a 50,000 sq ft bespoke unit to expand its business.

The firm will move its UK operation from Cheadle and use the unit at Novus for storage and distribution.

Vida Living is headquartered in Dundalk, Ireland and provides design led, high quality furniture tailored to businesses and the private rented residential sector.

Construction on phase two is set to begin in January 2022, with completion expected at the end of the year.

Phase one delivered 134,000 sq ft of industrial space sold to Northwood Urban Logistics, Sytner Group, Oliver Valves and Mesoestetics.
