WITTON Albion's three-match winning run was brought to an end at Scarborough Athletic this afternoon.

And that was despite them taking an early lead on the Yorkshire coast thanks to Will Jones' first goal of the season.

However, goals from Ashley Jackson and Lewis Maloney had the hosts ahead at the break before Michael Coulson extended their lead midway through the second half.

Callum Saunders continued his superb goalscoring form by pulling one back for Albion, but Scarborough held on for a 3-2 win.

Elsewhere, 1874 Northwich were consigned to defeat thanks to a last-minute Reece Webb-Foster penalty against Colne.

They too had taken the lead thanks to Ash Woods' early goal, but Charlie Taylor pulled the visitors level before Webb-Foster's late intervention saw the visitors come away with a 2-1 win.
