A BIKE thief from Worcester who also targeted Aldi has received a suspended prison sentence.
Jason Watkins, 32, of Brickfields Road, Worcester, was jailed for several offences at Worcester Magistrates Court on Thursday.
The 32-year-old admitted theft of a pedal cycle worth £30 on August 21 this year, theft from a shop (Aldi) where he stole three joints of meat worth £29.67, also on August 21 this year.
Watkins also admitted stealing four packs of steaks to the value of £50 belonging to Aldi on July 9 this year.
He was sentenced to eight weeks in prison, suspended for nine months.
Watkins was also ordered to pay compensation of £29.67 and of £50 for the items he stole.
