Queues are stretching back to junction 23, Haydock.
A BROKEN down lorry has resulted in queuing traffic and delays of over half an hour for morotists this morning, Thursday.
The M6 southbound entry slip road, at junction 22, Winwick Link Road, is partially blocked and one lane has been closed.
Queues are stretching back to junction 25, Bryn with delays of 35 minutes.

Traffic officers are currently at the scene and recovery are on their way to the area to assist.
Normal traffic conditions are expected by 9.15am.
