HARTFORD Hurricanes under 13s girls' football team are looking forward to the new season.
They have been together for five years and grown into a close-knit group playing in the Cheshire Girls' League.
"I suppose our main hope is to have a Covid-free season and just get the girls playing again as most of last season was a right off," said manager Phil Curzon.
The girls will be wearing a new kit during the 2021-22 campaign, courtesy of a continuing sponsorship deal with Winsford business Nick Tomlin Cars.
Curzon and members of the Hurricanes team recently presented owner Nick Tomlin with a framed shirt in appreciation of his support over the past four seasons.
