A TRIBUTE will be held in Knutsford today to mark 20th anniversary of the September 11 terror attacks in America.
Mayor Cllr Stewart Gardiner has arranged a small ceremony to remember almost 3,000 people who were killed.
The US flag will be flown in the town and lowered at 11.50am, the time of the attacks and will remain at half mast for the remainder of the day.

President Joe Biden will visit all three 9/11 memorial sites to commemorate the anniversary and pay his respects.
He will visit ground zero in New York City, the Pentagon and the memorial outside Shanksville, Pennsylvania, where United Flight 93 was forced down
Nearly 3,000 people were killed in targeted attacks on the twin towers of World Trade Centre in New York and the Pentagon in Washington D.C.
A fourth hijacked plane, possibly aimed at the White House, crashed in Pennsylvania killing all on board.
