A CAKE sale with a difference is being held today in a cinema.
Knutsford Bake Club is offering a selection of homemade cakes in a box to raise funds for Macmillan as part of the world's biggest coffee morning event.
Bakers will be in the recently refurbished Curzon Cinema on Toft Road from 11am to 2pm today, Thursday, September 9.
Broadcaster Mark Radcliffe is lending his support.

The BBC Radio 2 and 6 music DJ Mark, 63, who lives in Knutsford with wife Bella, was treated for head and neck cancer in 2018.
Dee Griffiths, from Knutsford Bake Club, said: "Mark is now fully recovered and is always happy to support us.
"We just love to bake. There is nothing like a homemade cake. We have a shared passion for baking and have made really good friends.
"Instead of having a sit down coffee morning, we are holding a cakeaway. People can come down and pick up a selection of delicious homemade cake in a box."
Cakes on offer will include carrot cake, ginger loaf, chocolate brownies, lemon drizzle cake and courgette cake.
The club raised £1,500 at a similar event last year.
Visitors will be asked to pay £10 for a cake box
