Gareth West Hairdressing
The King Street hair salon was by far the most popular recommendation by residents, with customers getting Gareth’s shop into double figures of shoutouts.
Janet Bennett said: “Gareth at Gareth West hairdressing, the best in Knutsford.”
Fiona Barnes added: “Vicky at Gareth West always makes me look 10 years younger.”
Emma Lumley agreed with the majority as she said that her choice is Gareth West, without a doubt.
Toni and Guy
The Knutsford shop is on Regent Street. Operating as a franchise, many residents in town are fans.
Kay Callan Elgar said: “Bev at Toni and Guy. She has recently had a fall injuring her hand. Hope she is better soon, as my hair definitely needs a good cut."
Lisa Benskin also said: “Steph at Toni and Guy Knutsford. I have been going to her for 10 years and wouldn’t use anyone else.”
ADT Hair Studio
The studio, based in Mobberley, refers to themselves as a ‘friendly, relaxed salon’.
And among several namechecks as their favourite hair salon, Cheryl Johnson sung their praises.
“ADT Mobberley always do a brilliant job,” she said.
Richard Harrison Hair
Richard, who was a former style director at Toni and Guy, operates on a home-service basis.
Nicola Arnell said: "Richard Illingworth-Harrison does just amazing colours, cuts, blow drys and extensions."
Michael and Sally, both customers at Richard’s salon also said that he is amazing and that he is their choice, without a doubt.
The likes of CRATE Hair, Knutsford Hair Spa, Terence Paul, Nicholas Austen, Saks Hair Knutsford and Denise Brown were also paid tribute to by readers.
