TOMMY Fleetwood is in the mix for the Tokyo Olympic golf medals after a sensational third-round in Japan this morning.
The Holmes Chapel ace's seven under par at Kasumigaseki Country Club leaves him two strokes outside of the medals going into the final round tomorrow.
His score of 64 overnight (UK time) was five better than yesterday's effort and sees him tied ninth on -10.
USA's Zander Schauffele leads on -14 after today's 68, with Japan's Hideki Matsuyama one behind.
Great Britain's Paul Casey, after his best of the tournament 66, and Mexico's Carlos Ortiz are tied in third on -12.
Ireland's Rory McIlroy is one of four on -11 leading the chasing pack.
