Last minute get aways in-and-around Cheshire

Using Airbnb, we chose the end of July for a weekend away and thought we would run down some of the best options for you in-and-around Cheshire.

Whether you just want a night in a town and to stay away from home, or your visiting the area and could do with a place to stay, we have got you covered.

Cheshire West and Chester

This bungalow could be your last minute getaway

Marton

This Marton getaway in a 200-year-old barn conversion is 'nestled in the beautiful Cheshire country side'.

It hosts two guests with a king size bedroom and a bed. The area is positioned between Alderley Edge, Congleton, Maccliesfield and Knutsford and comes in at £87 per night.

Macclesfield

You can have the entire place for £88 per night in Kimberley's homely Maccliesfield cottage.

It is said to be 'perfect for exploring the surrounding countryside with the added bonus of it's central location in the town'.

Over Peover

Now this is different. Christine welcomes guests to a self containec cabin in Over Peover which is close to Knutsford.

For £95 per night, guests get an open plan lounge and bedroom with double bed and double sofa bed. 40 inch smart TV, fitted kitchen and bathroom and access to a private garden.

Northwich

The Northwich island getaway

And while we're talking different, this Northwich Shephreds Hut at £113 per night takes it up a notch.

The handbuilt hut is situated on an island in the centre of the River Weaver.

You can 'sit out by the rivers edge, there is wild swimming available, many species of wildlife can be seen and the kingfishers darting along the river'.
