CHILDREN have had fun trying different activities during Manor Park Primary School and Nursery's first sports week.

Created for the whole school to take part, the usual traditional sports days took place during the mornings while in the afternoon all classes rotated around a variety of events.

The highlight of the event took place towards the end of the week when all children and staff had the opportunity to try their skills on a huge climbing wall with various levels of difficulty.

"The speed at which some of our children reached the top was staggering, but most importantly, the determination and resilience of all our children to try something new and push their own boundaries was amazing to see," said deputy head teacher, Sarah Jeffery.
