TRADERS in Knutsford are once again celebrating their unique contribution to the town by joining the Totally Locally National Fiver Fest.
Independent shops will have a range of special £5 offers from Saturday, June 12 to Saturday, 26 to show the diversity and value of what they sell and to thank the local community for their support.
The Fiver Fest sees thousands of independent businesses across the country coming together to highlight their contribution to the great British High Street.
Sandra Curties, town centre and marketing officer at Knutsford Town Council, said “Fiver Fest is now one of our key regular promotions.
"The independent shops and businesses are what makes our town special and unique – they all appreciate it when our community support them, so these offers are to say thank you for that support, and to show just what great value our local businesses are.”

Fiver Fest is based around the now famous Totally Locally £5 message that if every adult in Knutsford spent just £5 per week in their local independent shops and businesses, it would mean £2.6 million per year going directly into our local economy.
This can lead to more jobs, a stronger high street, a stronger economy and a generally nicer place to live.
Chris Sands, of Totally Locally, said:“We know Fiver Fest isn’t going to change the world.
"But small changes in spending habits can really make a difference to our high streets. Just by diverting £5 of our weekly spend to local independents we give them a fighting chance to thrive.
"The pandemic has shown just what an amazing contribution they make to our local communities. It is a conversation worth having.”
