FOLLOWING Thursday's day of voting, the results are now in for the by-elections Knutsford, Handforth and Wilmslow.
Two seats on Knutsford Town Council, representing the Bexton and Nether wards, were up for grabs, while one seat was contested in both Handforth and Wilmslow.
Here are the results:
Knutsford Bexton Ward
Conservative candidate Millie Morris was elected to the town council after securing 422 votes.
Rosalind Hobson, for the Liberal Democrats, received 394 votes.
Knutsford Nether Ward
With 379 votes, independent Scott Lowe was victorious, defeating Conservative Annie Greer (319 votes) and Liberal Democrat Bill Tegner.
Handforth West Ward
Julie Smith won a seat on the parish council with 570 votes, defeating independent Hil Peel who received 251 votes.
Wilmslow Lacey Green Ward
Simon Bullock, representing the Residents of Wilmsow, secured 677 votes to win a seat on the town council.
Conservative candidate Jack Illingworth received 496 votes.
