FIRE crews from Wilmslow have successfully dealt with two incidents in the town.

Firefighters were firstly called to Heatherfield Court to reports of a tree being well alight at around 6.30pm on Friday (May 7).

A hose reel jet was used to put out the flames and there are no reports at this stage as to what caused the fire.

The Wilmslow crew were then called out to deal with a mattress and pallet on fire in the early hours of Saturday.

Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire, which happened on Lime Walk shortly before 3am.
