Weapons and drugs seized as police arrest three teens after vehicle stop
POLICE have seized a number of weapons and a quantity of drugs after stopping a vehicle in Handforth.
Officers pulled over a silver Volkswagen Golf in Wilmslow Road at around 8.40pm last night (Thursday, April 29).
Three occupants in the car fled the scene but were caught a short time later.
A search of the vehicle was carried out, revealing the drugs and weapons.
Subsequently three teenagers, two aged 19 and one aged 18, were arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and possession of a Class B drug.
The men all remain in custody assisting police with their enquiries.
