THE Lost and Found in Knutsford was one of the venues excited to open its doors for alfresco dining and drinking today, Monday.

With the arching gothic doors of the Grade II listed former town hall as a backdrop, residents flocked to the heated outdoor terrace - complete with large parasols - to enjoy drinks and foods with friends and family after months of lockdown.

A spokesperson for the Lost and Found, which is located in Princess Street, said: "Renowned for its Avant Garde style and pushing boundaries in mixology, make up for lost time in this Victorian hideaway, open throughout the week from noon until 8pm.

"Sip the day away with innovative cocktails from the bar menu, made with infused spirits and homemade concoctions, alongside signature pours and summer spritzes.

"Quelling hunger, a seasonal menu of crowd-pleasing dishes runs from crisp sourdough pizzas with enticing toppings, to high quality cuts of steaks straight from the Josper charcoal oven.

"For daytime get-togethers, treat loved ones to an elegant afternoon tea, while Sundays play host to hearty roasts with all the trimmings, offering a choice of roasted meats or vegetarian cauliflower rarebit."

The popular venue will reopen fully for indoor and outdoor dining from Monday, May 17.
