WARRINGTON Hospital is experiencing its lowest level of coronavirus patients since September.
This is according to the latest figures released by Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust this afternoon, Monday.
At present, the Lovely Lane site is caring for 29 patients that have tested positive for Covid-19, of which three are in intensive care.
Over the weekend, four more patients were discharged after recovering from the virus, bringing the discharge total since the start of the pandemic to 1,943.

Sadly however, the deaths of three Covid-positive patients were also recorded during the same period, with the trust’s virus death toll rising to 495 as a result.
To date, the trust has conducted 81,026 tests for coronavirus, with 5,346 producing a positive result.
