POLICE swooped on Sankey Valley Park to arrest a man yesterday afternoon, Sunday.
Six police cars were spotted in the park by passers-by.
After arriving at the scene, officers arrested a 39-year-old man on suspicion of a number of driving offences.

A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “On the afternoon of Sunday, April 11, a 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop for police and drug driving.
“He has since been released under investigation.”
