A ROAD in Appleton was closed by the emergency services following an accident this evening, Saturday.
The incident took place on Grappenhall lane where a car appeared to have left the road and collided with a tree in the grass verge.
Police and firefighters were in attendance.
On social media, Appleton Police said a woman had provided a positive breath test reading of 100 - the legal limit is 35 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
