CHILDREN'S charity, the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust, has come up with a genius idea for us all this Mother’s Day – and you don’t have to be a mum to take part.

This Sunday you can join professional chef Robert Owen Brown in an interactive and fun cook-along from Cheshire Cookery School, during which we can all become a masterchef for the day and create a delicious two course meal!

The charity is also so excited to announce that rock legend and CAFT Patron Noddy Holder and his wife Suzan will be joining Rob in the kitchen to sample the food.

It might not be possible to treat your mum (or yourself) to a meal out this Mother’s Day, but with Rob’s help you can turn your house into the finest restaurant without having to even take off your pyjamas.

Chef Rob has devised a simple, but impressive, menu which the whole family can get involved using ingredients which can be found in any supermarket.

The event will be streamed on Zoom and there’s a variety of entry options to suit all budgets. Starting at just £10.92 for a Zoom access only ticket which comes with a full list of ingredients so you can shop at your leisure.

Or why not have the hard work done for you and opt for an ingredients supplied ticket from £42.

The event starts at 1pm with participants able to enjoy a two-course meal afterwards.

All proceeds from the event will go to CAFT, helping them to continue to offer vital respite for ill, disabled and disadvantaged children at their 10 acre site based just outside of Knutsford.

A spokesman for the charity said: "The charity has successfully managed to continue to provide activities for families throughout the pandemic, providing families with a much-needed break from the confines of their homes during lockdown.

"Fundraising has been limited however so they are appealing for supporters old and new to join us for this fantastic event which will raise vital funds."
