KNUTSFORD'S tip will be closed for two days next week so that essential site maintenance can be carried out.
The household waste recycling centre, in Mobberley Road, will be closed all day on Tuesday, March 2, and Wednesday, March 3, so works can be carried out safely.
Cheshire East Council has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
Knutsford's tip is currently open seven days a week, from 8.30am to 4pm.
Residents need to observe social distancing measures while at the centre, and this means site staff are not able to assist the public.
The site is operating a 'one in, one out' policy and a permit system for people with vans or trailers.
Residents should take proof of address when attending the household waste recycling centre.

No more than two people should be in each car, including no children, except younger children who cannot stay at home but must remain in the car.
