A WILMSLOW man who was hunted down by a police dog in the early hours of Thursday morning has been charged with drink driving.
The 33-year-old fled from officers in Brereton Road, Handforth, at around 2.30am on December 10, before abandoning his car and hiding in nearby woodland.
A dog unit attended the scene, with Dutch herder Toro lending a paw and leading the officers straight to the man.
Last night a vehicle made off from patrols in Wilmslow and was found abandoned. Toro attended and quickly found a track taking his handler straight to the male who was hiding in nearby woodland.
