MORE than 230 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Cheshire East and West.
The latest figures from Public Health England cover the 24-hour period up to 9am today, November 20.
In Cheshire East, including Knutsford and Middlewich, there were 129 new Covid-19 cases in that time.
That takes the total number of coronavirus cases in the borough to 8,271 since the pandemic began.
Meanwhile in Cheshire West, including Northwich and Winsford, there were 106 new Covid-19 cases in the 24 hours up to 9am today.
That takes the total number of coronavirus cases in the borough to 8,422 since the pandemic started.
It means that across the two boroughs, there were 235 new coronavirus cases in 24 hours.
Today's daily case number is lower than the figure released on Thursday, November 19, when there were 280 new cases confirmed in 24 hours.
