How would you like to buy a house in East Lancashire for as little as £10,000?

You might be able to snap up a house close to this figure at auction.

According to Zoopla, the average property price in Lancashire has increased by 3.53 per cent in the last three months.

However, auctioned properties offer an affordable way to get your foot on the property ladder- that’s if you are a savvy bidder, of course.

Here are five East Lancashire properties that are being auctioned off- will you be placing a bid?

This three bedroom home is being sold via auction on the 24th of November.

While this is the most expensive property on the list, it’s still an absolute bargain when you compare it to the price of other homes in the Darwen.

For instance, this three bed Manor Road home is on the market for £325,000.

The terraced cottage has a lot to offer and could be a lovely place to live after a bit of modernisation.

As well as a lounge, dining room and kitchen, there is also a yard to the rear
