NEW coronavirus cases have risen slightly in Cheshire West and Cheshire East, according to the latest figures.
A total of 216 new cases have been diagnosed in the two boroughs, during the past 24 hours, compared with 168 the previous day.
Records just published show that there have been 117 new cases in Cheshire West and Chester and 99 in Cheshire East.
The total number of people diagnosed with coronavirus in Cheshire West, including Northwich and Winsford, now stands at 8,159.
In Cheshire East, including Knutsford and Middlewich, there have been 8,019 cases recorded since the pandemic began.
