Concerned motorists grab keys of lorry driver who stopped four times on M6
A LORRY driver who stopped several times on the M6 today was arrested after providing a positive breath test.
At around 1pm traffic was brought to a standstill on the M6 Northbound between junction 18 A54 Middlewich Road near Middlewich and Holmes Chapel and junction 19 A556 Knutsford after the lorry driver came to a halt at around 1pm.
Concerned motorists were said to have grabbed the driver's keys.
He gave a breath test reading of 126, when the legal limit is 35.
The lane has since reopened.
