KNUTSFORD'S fashion and jewellery stores and beauty salons are inviting people to support the town's second Flash Fashion event next weekend.

The businesses are putting the finishing touches to the event, which takes place on Saturday, November 7, when free parking will be on offer in town centre car parks.

The fashion day will consist of discounts, promotions, raffles, pop-ups (beauty and jewellery), fashion styling advice and models walking through the town centre promoting shops taking part.

Free parking will be on offer on the day, which will also see the Knutsford Town Mayor’s open afternoon, when Cllr Andrew Malloy will open new businesses or existing businesses which have moved or improved their premises.

Sandra Curties, town centre and marketing officer said: “As well as the individual promotions, any shopper on the day will be given a raffle ticket with any purchase they make.

"This will be put in a prize draw, to be drawn after the event, to win a £100 voucher that can be redeemed at any participating Flash Fashion retailer.

"The shops have worked hard, during difficult times, to put a ‘safe shopping’ event together.”

The free parking starts at 10am and includes Silk Mill, Princess and King Street car parks.

This is in addition to the three free parking days in December, scheduled for December 5, 12 and 19.

Davina Armitage of Cocaranti said: “We are delighted to be taking part in Flash Fashion again. We've lots going on including a pop-up with Clarity and some (safe) fashion styling advice from Hannah Shaw styling, a 20 per cent discount and a competition.

"We are really looking forward to the day so please pop in for some early Christmas shopping."

Knutsford Dry Cleaners are also offering a 20 per cent discount off their future dry-cleaning bill to anyone who makes a purchase on the day – shoppers are urged to look out for the leaflet in their bag.

Knutsford Flash Fashion is taking place in retailers’ premises, all of which are Covid-secure.

There is free parking on Saturday, November 7 from 10am in Silk Mill, King and Princess Street car parks.

The businesses which are taking part in the Flash fashion event are as follows.

Bamboo Boutique (located in Cheshire Quality); Bare Necessities, British Red Cross, Clarity Contemporary Jewellery, Cocaranti, Chalk 3, Glamorous, Hannah Shaw Styling, Kanoa Living.

Paris Ladies Boutique, Oliver Wild, Philip Armstrong, P R Jones, Roberta Beauty Redefined (nail pop up in Willow Boutiques and Paris Boutique), Willow Boutiques and Zapatos.
