THE Welcome community hub has thanked staff, children and parents at two primary schools for their harvest festival donations.
Bexton and St Vincent's schools collected tinned food and dried products to support the food bank at The Welcome at Longridge.
Hub manager Sarah Riley said: "Everyone needs good neighbours and we’ve got the best. Thanks to the staff, children and parents of St Vincent’s and Bexton for their incredible generosity."
Bexton Primary headteacher Emily Armstrong said: "Every class in the school had their own little harvest box, and donated dried products and goods tinned products.
"We then put them outside school to be collected. We would normally put it all together in the hall as a lovely display."
