THE Churchill Tree, the latest pub and restaurant from Cheshire Pub Co, is set to open at Alderley Park this autumn.

The new pub and restaurant will be located in the grade II-listed Tenant’s Hall, and will include a 160-cover restaurant with outside beer garden.

A Cheshire Pub Co spokesman said: “Our new venue at Alderley Park will give people a safe and happy place to visit during these unusual times, and provide residents and the business community with a local pub which feels like a home from home.

“The setting at Alderley Park is beautiful and we feel very fortunate to be a part of the community. We can’t wait to open our doors and get to know our new customers.”

Dr Kath Mackay, managing director Alderley Park, said: “We can’t wait for The Churchill Tree to open this autumn.

“ I’ve no doubt it will prove very popular and will be enjoyed by both the businesses based here at the Park and the local community alike.”

Named after the sweet chestnut tree planted by a young Winston Churchill in Alderley Park in the early 20th century, The Churchill Tree is the second pub to be opened by Cheshire Pub Co this year and follows the recent opening of the Crown and Conspirator in Bramhall.
