FIVE NHS workers have been thanked for their efforts in the pandemic with a substantial financial contribution towards their new Wilmslow home.
As part of the company's NHS Deposit Contribution Scheme, which was launched in May, David Wilson Homes is offering a five per cent deposit contribution up to £15,000 for new homebuyers who are working tirelessly in the health service.
The firm is developing the Stanneylands scheme, and so far five NHS workers have been helped to secure a new home at the development under the offer.
Philippa Stewart, head of sales, said: "It’s brilliant to see NHS workers in Cheshire are making use of the NHS Deposit Contribution Scheme.
"The NHS has worked incredibly hard during the Covid-19 pandemic and we are really pleased that the scheme is already benefitting those who deserve it the most."

The scheme, which is being run by both David Wilson Homes and Barratt, has so far helped 43 NHS workers in the north west move into their new property.
It can be used in conjunction with the Government's Help to Buy scheme for first-time buyers and comes as the Chancellor has scrapped stamp duty for properties worth up to £500,000 until March 31, 2021.
