FIREFIGHTERS spent hours tackling a large blaze in a farmer’s field on Sunday evening.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the land off Wigshaw Lane in Culcheth shortly after 5.30pm on October 18.
Two fire engines attended the scene, with the blaze covering an area measuring around 20sq m and coming close to nearby trees.
Crews spent nearly three hours tackling the fire in total.
