CUSTOMERS can now be rewarded for shopping at Knutsford Market Hall with the introduction of a loyalty scheme.

The purse-friendly loyalty card enables customers to collect a stamp from each trader when shopping at the market and cash them in for a reward.

Knutsford Guardian:

Each trader has displayed their reward in their stall to keep it simple and easy.

Sandra Curties, town centre and marketing officer at Knutsford Town Council, which introduced the scheme said: “We’ve been looking to introduce a loyalty scheme for some time, and hope customers will enjoy collecting their stamps.

Knutsford Guardian:

“Our customers have been extremely loyal throughout lockdown and beyond, and this is a lovely way to thank them.”

Producing the card has also been a real market affair, with Chris Stuart of Plastic Free Weigh designing and printing the card via his sister company Design Print Create.

Knutsford Guardian:

Customers can collect their card from any trader and should speak to traders individually to check the spend limit to receive a stamp.

The rewards on offer are as follows.

Knutsford Guardian:

Morgan Edwards Fine Wines & Spirits, free bottle of wine; Plastic Free Weigh, 200g of sweets or snacks; Jonty’s Fruit and Veg, punnet of seasonal berries; Style Loft Boutique, free piece of jewellery; Greeting Cards and Balloons of Knutsford, £2.50 off one transaction; Market Butcher/Household and Pet, dozen free range eggs; The Market Café, free sausage roll or brownie; Slipped Discs, cheapest item free up to £4 on 11th purchase.

Knutsford Guardian:

Town mayor Cllr Andrew Malloy said: “The market traders have been fantastic all the way through this whole coronavirus situation.

Knutsford Guardian:

“They’ve carried on working, have introduced delivery and online services, and this is another way people can support the businesses and businesses can support residents, and to keep people using local shops, in particular the market.

“It’s got a great atmosphere and lovely traders; give it a try and see what you think.”
