HOLMES Chapel florist The Bloom Room is opening its first retail location at Goostrey Home and Leisure on Monday, October 19.

The Bloom Room has been successfully trading in Holmes Chapel from a home studio since 2019.

With a growing customer base, the florist has chosen to expand into a permanent retail location.

Its new setting will offer a range of hand-tied fresh flower arrangements and bouquets, alongside house plants, dried flowers, wreaths and floral gifts.

Owner Andie Cooper said: “This has been an extremely challenging year as a sole business trader, however lockdown offered the perfect opportunity to reflect and plan for the future.

“Taking space within Goostrey Home and Leisure enables me to increase my current range while also offering, for the first time, the opportunity for customers to come and browse my shop.

“I am extremely passionate about the products I create and support other local businesses wherever I can.

“I love to use seasonal British flowers from local suppliers such as JustDahlias in Goostrey, which provided me with huge blooms throughout the summer months.

“Visitors to my shop will be able to see how my arrangements change by the week, and with the seasons, combining the beauty of nature with the latest in floristry designs.”

The Bloom Room is also committed to being a sustainable florist. All of its packaging can be recycled and floral arrangements are constructed using biodegradable floral foam.

Products such as plastic-free hanging Kokadamas from Cheshire Houseplants are currently in stock, alongside a range of stunning British recycled glass vases.

Rebecca Randles of Goostrey Home and Leisure said: “We are delighted to welcome The Bloom Room and its exciting floristry range to our country shopping experience.

“Visitors to us will be able to browse Andie’s creations in both the shop and cafe and we hope will join us in supporting this fantastic local business.”

The Bloom Room will be open daily at Goostrey Home and Leisure with customers also able to place orders direct through its social media channels or by calling 07907 305456.
