VACANT premises in Knutsford town centre are being earmarked for a new lease of life as a coffee and juice bar, gift and lifestore.

Catherine Hooper from Knutsford is seeking advertisement consent from Cheshire East Council for three fascia boards and a hanging sign at 41 Princess Street.

The premises were last home to a branch of the Santander bank, which closed last summer.

Comments on the application can be submitted on the Cheshire East Council planning portal until October 19.

The council's target date for a decision on the application, reference 20/4191M, is November 19.

The application is one of those due to be discussed by members of Knutsford Town Council's planning and licensing committee at 6pm on Monday, October 19, via Zoom.

The public can join the meeting by clicking the following link, bit.ly/KTC-PLC, or with meeting ID: 810 4458 5306 and password: KTC-82394.

The meeting will also be live streamed to Facebook at facebook.com/knutsfordtowncouncil.
