ADJOINING premises in Grove Street, Wilmslow, are set to be merged into one to create a café/restaurant.

Cibo Restaurants is seeking planning approval from Cheshire East Council to create a new single, standalone premises by merging 31 and 33 Grove Street.

Both buildings adjoin the Cibo Restaurant on Green Lane to the rear, and share a common corridor with the restaurant.

The ownership of each building has recently transferred into new, unified ownership, with the new owners looking to invest in remodelling the premises.

Knutsford Guardian:

The planned merged premises

A report with the application said 31 Grove Street was trading as Holland and Barrett, whose lease was due to expire within two years of the application date. 33 Grove Street is vacant, and most recently was home to a TUI travel agency.

The new single, standalone premises would trade independently from Cibo with different operating hours/days.
