THE pavement between Adams Hill and the Curzon cinema in Knutsford remains closed while an investigation takes place into a hole which appeared on Friday when the pavement collapsed.
A Cheshire East Council spokesman tweeted that the council's highways department was working alongside United Utilities to assess ownership in order to undertake repair work.
The public were thanked for their patience while the path remains closed.
