A MAP of Covid-19 cases in Cheshire has highlighted new clusters of coronavirus.

Handforth and Dean Row, rural areas surrounding Knutsford, and the Glebe Green area of Winsford all saw more than 10 new coronavirus cases between September 14 and 20, according to Public Health England.

With Covid-19 cases on the rise across the country in recent weeks, this map shows the extent to which neighbourhoods around Northwich, Winsford, Middlewich, Knutsford and Wilmslow have been affected.

Knutsford Guardian:

It highlights areas where there have been more than two cases of coronavirus between September 14 and 20 in pale blue, while areas with more than 10 cases are in darker blue.

The map is broken up into geographical areas known as 'middle super output areas', which are smaller than whole towns but bigger than council wards or individual villages.

It shows that the following areas have had more than two cases of Covid-19 from September 14 to 20:

  • Mobberley, Plumley and High Legh – 12 cases
  • Handforth and Dean Row – 11 cases
  • Winsford Glebe Green – 11 cases
  • Hartford and Kingsmead – eight cases
  • Northwich Central and Winnington – eight cases
  • Middlewich East – seven cases
  • Middlewich West – six cases
  • Wilmslow Town – six cases
  • Fulshaw Park and Lindow – five cases
  • Lacey Green and Wilmslow Park – five cases
  • Lostock and Wincham – five cases
  • Davenham and Moulton – four cases
  • Comberbach, Acton Bridge and Whitley – three cases
  • Sandiway – three cases

Other areas which are not listed could have had zero cases, or just one or two.
