KNUTSFORD FC are continuing with their build-up to the start of the new Cheshire League season.
“We started training on 3G last Tuesday and had a friendly versus Stockport Georgians from the Manchester Premier League on Saturday at home,” said chairman Jimmy Evans.
“It was a good and competitive game with Stockport edging it to win 3-2. Our goals came from Wagster and Rodick.
“We’re due to play Stockport Town away on Saturday in our last friendly before the league starts on October 3 with a home game against Eagle Sports
“All games are now 2pm kick-offs.”
Evans added that a close eye is being kept on Government and FA regulations concerning the Covid-19 situation.
“All non-league football is watching the news to see if any new Covid restrictions come in that will impact our schedule,” he said.
“It may turn out to be a stop-start season.”
