AN AIR ambulance has been called after a two-car crash on the M62.
Two lanes were closed with quieing traffic due to the crash between Junctions 10 (Croft Interchange) and 11 (Birchwood).
Lanes three and four were closed and have since been reopened.
Traffic was held up from around 11.45am on the westbound side, where the collision happened.
Traffic was held until around 12.40pm on the eastbound side as the air ambulance attended.
Two men were treated by paramedics.
Cheshire Fire and rescue Service said: "Firefighters attended to reports of a collision on the M62 westbound between junction 11 to junction 10.
"The collision involved two vehicles.
"Two males were handed into the care of paramedics.
"Air ambulance also attended to the scene.
"Firefighters made one of the vehicles safe."
