A public appeal has been launched after a man was reported missing from the Lewisham area earlier today (Saturday, September 19).
Met Police officers from Lewisham announced the appeal in a Twitter post that identified the man, named Stuart, and said he was last seen pushing a blue suitcase.

MISSING PERSON- Officers are looking for a high risk missing person, Stuart, in the Sydenham, se26 / forest hill, se23 area. He is wearing a brown hat, blue jumper with a maroon shirt under neath, blue jeans and pushing a blue suitcase. If seen call 999 and quote CAD 2187/19SEP20 pic.twitter.com/iM7WkDT87z

A spokesperson for Lewisham MPS said:
"Officers are looking for a high risk missing person, Stuart, in the Sydenham, se26 / forest hill, se23 area.
"He is wearing a brown hat, blue jumper with a maroon shirt underneath, blue jeans and pushing a blue suitcase."
An image attached to the post showed Stuart in the blue jumper as described by police, wearing glasses and a panama hat.
If you can help or have seen Stuart, call police as a matter of urgency on 999, and quote CAD 2187/19SEP20.
